Alright! now I like it better. I was about to say that the map needed to be much bigger to make
sense as a map. Great work disco.
About the art and images, you should use AI if needed. I know it is an "unpopular" resource (now
at least), but if you are willing to put time and effort building something like this, then why
not use all that is available to make it look nice?

Oh I think your sprites are good. I was referring to any other splash image, or story
illustration.
