Fixed to work with latest flash player
During the years I've been on and off trying to crack the protection which was the reason this game
wouldn't work with modern versions of flash player. (the original game runs on flash 11 or 12 at
most)
Finaly realised it has three layers of protection. I managed to safely peel two of them and leave
last one intact (for now) and it started working. Also starts significantly faster, because no more
decrypting on-the-fly.
I know Cave Story is out on Steam and probably many other platforms, but we want it on flash, don't
we now? Enjoy!

Holy shit OP, I've always been bummed about Cave Story stopping to work with newer flash versions
and you just went and fixed it! Thanks! Do you know why exactly the protection stopped working on
later flash releases? I assume Adobe flipped something off for security reasons.
You know, I've never played the flash version for too long since I beat it on the original DOS
version. I take it it's the full game since zipping the original Doukutsu.exe and side files
(excluding the manual) makes out to be 1.25 MiB.

If I had to choose one game to describe the peak of the snes it would be this game.
If I had to choose an actual snes game, it would be Demon's Crest.

The debugger flash player says something about Shared Arrays something something, that's what Adobe
disabled in later versions I presume? Around 2010-2015 flash was increasingly used as malware
carrier, easy to obfuscate and encrypt and difficult to detect by AVs, so Adobe tried to fix some
shit at least.
As for is it the full game, no idea, I played it back then on my old pc and it was lagging badly,
still managed to get quite far until some boss, then had to use cheat engine to go past it (I think
flash dynamically changes variable locations in memory, so the cheats I'd find stopped working
after a couple minutes). I was probably close to the end, but never finished it. Now it plays
smooth, I'll give it a go again, this time no cheating! Maybe.
