There's some bullshit continuation to this story that tries to answer those plot holes in a game
that apparently nobody plays.
From what I understand, for whatever reason, either inorganic or non-living matter (I forget
which) can't pass over the glass. I don't know why sound can't either.
In this game the player comes across the wall and can read a conversation the two have where the
boy tries to climb over the fence with a ladder and ends up cutting his ear off or something.
