What exactly do you gain from reading the Harry Potter books? Books are just entertainment too,
sure, you could learn a few things and improve your reading speed but you could do that playing

I am 29 years old I live in my mom’s basement. I once had a good paying career from the useless
education I spent way to much money on. I got laid off from said job (cut backs). I used to own a
condo and date a girl that hounded me to make more money so that we can start a family, once I
lost the job she left with out saying goodbye. I would go out after work with people that were
superficial and un-genuine but I smiled and went along with the fake friendships.

After I lost the job, the condo, the fake friends, and most of all the emotional vampire of a
girlfriend I found my self in my mom’s basement playing lots of video games. I now work at a
rifle range for 10 dollars an hour but love every minute of it. I have a new GF that lives in her
mom’s basement to and we play video games together. For the first time in my adult life I feel
ok. I am not saying living in your mom’s basement and playing copious amounts of video games is
the key to enlightenment but it sure made my life better. I will never go back to a cubical, fake
friends, and cunt women. For me the basement and some world in conflict is zen.
