This was, beyond a doubt, the greatest Final Fantasy VII tribute I have ever seen in my life.
The seizure-inducing background colors, representing the dichotomy between life and death, good
and evil, and ultimately the battle between two tortured souls, was a bold move. If I'm not
mistaken, it was also a nod to the overarching theme of the rapid advance of technology being
desperately fought back by warriors of tradition that is prevalent amongst all of the Final
Fantasy games.
Further, the voice acting is rendered here as awkward yet somehow endearing. Masterfully done, as
it toed the line between grating and true to form. I could not believe how well it was handled
and can only admit that I was taken aback by the skill with which it was handled.
Finally, the oh god I can't finish this, my eyes hurt and I want to die, please don't bait me in
with something that looks like it might be Cory In The House again.
