I think I would prefer the future where I can replace a limb in a day, have nanobots which will
fix most illnesses and eradicate MANY diseases, and being able to about hold an intelligent
conversation with a MACHINE.
JUST a DECADE people.

Most? Once nanobots are at the level where they can manipulate molecules or individual atoms
(presumably, the nano prefix means they will), all diseases will be history since they'll
prevented before they have a chance to manifest. And we'll be able to access 4chan just by
thinking.

Wait it out and it'll be worth it. The utopian future imagined in those black and white 1950s
prospect films will arrive in a few decades, where robots will do all the "work" (resource
extraction, object creation, repair) and this time it won't be those cheesy looking humanoid
automatons but rather nanobots, as has already been stated.

Machines are replacing the jobs that are available on Earth. They're not replacing the jobs that
are available in the universe. It's time to move on to a civilization where basic needs are met
and the majority of jobs are spend expanding our territory to distant planets and planetoids.

I think someone forgot about creative destruction when writing this article...also all levels of
society are being impacted by advances in technology not just middle class jobs may be affected
by this...Imagine high level market jobs on Wall Street and other financial markets being lost to
computers.

Motoko was originally a bro before his brain was put into a robot.
