I think I get it.
You have to bid as close to the number as you can, and are guessing how many they'll bid.
If you have the higher number, the other person gets the card, and that number counts negative
towards their score.
The problem is, you always swap the amount that you bid, so you can win some, but have less to
bid in the next few.

I played without knowing what the moon speak was reading but heres the general idea
Bid higher than the other play get the card, points don't matter too much, collecting different
numbers matter. After the match is complete you get taken to a score screen where each unique
card unlocks a portion to remove from her clothes. Enjoy.

I've figured it out. you bid your balls on a card. If you bid higher than the opponent, the card
goes to them, if you bid lower, the card goes to you. you gain one point for every ball you have
at the end of the game, and you lose the number of points on the cards you own.
the interesting thing is, if you own a card one higher or lower than the card and the card goes
to you, you only lose the points for the LOWEST of the cards.
if you have the cards 5, 6, 7 and 8 you only lose 5 points for ALL of them, so it's actually only
worth bidding on the cards if the opponent will lose a lot of points.
