I understand it though.

I think it's still in progress. Last time I checked, project was not over and author was still
working on it.

Though the artist did want to release a full version, there was a miscommunication between the
artist and the company that bought the game. For some reason rather than delivering an update
that unlocked the rest of the game, they wanted an entirely new game with all new poses for every
single combination.
Needless to say, the artist wasn't going to put in that much fucking work for so little pay. So
he told them to fuck off, and now the game is in a sort of limbo.
however, although the company does own the game, the ownership of the intellectual property of
the characters remains with the artist. Hence he is going to make a completely different game
with those same characters - perhaps in a similar fashion to this game.
