this
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:03 No.1429746
Ok, this is obviously broken.
The red dotted lines touch ground it starts trippin' out over itself until it can roll off. If it
tips or hesitates going up a hill, it stops the evolution.
P = Pause
Space does something, and I think [ does something.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:05 No.1429747
It's not broken you fucking idiots it is displaying how evolution works
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:06 No.1429750
I've seen this before, it's not a game. Just let it run and it keeps building better and more
efficient designs.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:20 No.1429757
now i got it (second post here)
wow, downloaded
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:24 No.1429758
watching a genetic algorithm is not a game
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:31 No.1429762
anybody know what the green line represents? I'm guessing black is distance
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)15:38 No.1429763
ok, well I've gone the distance consistently for like, 200 iterations.
Now what?
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)16:03 No.1429773
Is there a version of this without the distance cap?
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)16:38 No.1429793
pretty sure that the black points are success rate, measured by average distance reached from all
20 individuals.
and green is success measured by average lifespan... lots of instant deaths at the start drive it
down, and when you evolve bigger wheels they tend to live longer...
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)17:51 No.1429838
sauce for this stuff? anymore of it? Pretty awesome

Ok the part I thought was a distance cap was actually just turning the cars barely past "tilted."
They made it another couple feet but seem to have leveled out since. I'm leaving a couple of
windows evolving for the evening. If it's possible for them to make it past that part hopefully
one of them will have by the time I get home.
Moar like this for sure.

you can use arrow keys
space = brake
[ = nothing
>> [_] Anonymous2 12/05/10(Sun)19:01 No.1429877
>>1429875
no wait,
down is brake, space does nothing

also, i discovered (to me, i dont know if it will work with everyone) that holding right after
you get a safe landing will make you go farther

right is just to speed up

scroll wheel.... scroll it.
>> [_] Anonymous2 12/05/10(Sun)20:27 No.1429910
>>1429884
no, it tilts, just like left.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)20:32 No.1429916
DAMN my evolution is almost complete, but it keeps going back( not dead, cause the red balls
didn't touch the ground) i guess it's the f*ckin' time! i need a way to hack this timer....
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)20:39 No.1429922
replicating evolution though intelligent design like robots or something
pretty interesting .... but only if there were unlimited number of resources
>> [_] Anonymous 12/05/10(Sun)20:45 No.1429928
this needs sound effects like
NYYYYEEEEEEOOOOOOMMMMMM
BRRRRR BRRRR BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMM
kinda like that

and every time one of the disappears
really quick theres a sfx that says "derp"
