I played without bribing politicians, and so in the end I was left with only Nigeria and Texas
for oil production, and taxes kept increasing and shit thanks to all the greens in office. And
the economy collapsed, people started cannibalizing each other, and shit was not cash.
All the attacks in Nigeria annoyed me enough to abandon all operations there. Eventually the
technology was able to reduce the demand for oil enough that I stopped getting multiple reports a
year about how fucked up everything was, but not until after I placed a few people refineries in
Iraq. I had shitloads of money sitting around, but for decade after decade the demand far
exceeded my production, as oil was just sitting there in Alaska, Iraq, and some in Venezuela
still.
I don't think this is the message the game was intending to convey...

2200 M.A.D. ending with 3 billion in the bank and I glitched myself into having more people
refineries than you're supposed to. What do you do to get the retirement ending?

2200 M.A.D. ending with 3 billion in the bank. I glitched myself into having more people
refineries than I'm supposed to, yet I still watch the world go up in flames. How do you get the
retirement ending?

I just stayed in business without bribing politicians, letting the green movement take hold.

3,5 milliards in the bank, and in 2160 AD I got the retirement ending after removing all oil
extraction and not giving a fuck about political lobbying for ~30 years.

What's the difference between the gray line and the yellow? Yellow's above black but gray's below
it. Am I producing enough?

i just started spamming "end turn" until i got MAD. i don't remember when the game ended,
probably before 2100, but my money was glitched and not displaying fully.
pretty dumb game imo. the oil crisis is serious but this game doesn't do it justice.
