Fun but also easy.

Well played. No matter how I try, I really haven't been able to beat this clever little game.

Just remember the computer has no sense of strategy. It will do absolutely stupid moves just
because that option is available.

you also have to take into account your starting territories , the strength of each one, distance
from each other, who gets strike first, and how many times you are attacked and defeated.
I have played Dice wars alot, and would you believe me if I told you that more than once I have
been eliminated before I even got my first move?
tl;dr if it's too easy play it a few times or start a game where it looks like it's going to be a
difficult battle for you.

this. If I start playing on a good level, I can win just about every single time. If you find
this game hard, what you need to do is start with a space with a decently sized tower which is
near/on the edge and the area around it containing choke points. After you've established your
main territories, just expand up to the chokes and protect them. This is where most people mess
up since they try to over expand and a single cpu rapes them. Skip a few turns while the computer
kills each other and just protect those chokes. After it narrows down to 3 or so opponents it is
easy.
Also, in the endgame, computers do not attack each other, only you.

it's not so much the end game, it's any single point in time where the computer detects that you
have a significant territory/strength advantage over them.
but yeah, it's usually end game.
