I need to contact the mods regarding a permanent ban that I'm receiving due to a recent IP
change. Apparently the ip was permanently banned from all boards for spamming back on May 24th
2010. I'm not sure how to change my ip again . There seem to be no active mods on irc right now
and I can't seem to email moot.

I can relate to you OP. I once underwent the same problem, except that my ISP was banned for
abuse (yes the whole goddamn ISP). First I realized that I could browse all the boards but I
couldn't post on any of them. So I e-mailed moot and talked to the mods on IRC. They basically
told me to fuck off. I was consumed by an almighty rage and wanted swift and instant vengeance
inflicted on them. They would forever fear the name of Anonymous; for we are legion. We do not
forgive. We do not forget.
Then I noticed that I could post on /f/ alone. A plan for ultimate divine retribution was forming
in my mind. This in essence is what I did:

I was just being sarcastic (quite obviously). sage does not 'work' on /f/ since the position of
the thread on the board does not matter in the least. The life of the thread does not depend upon
whether the thread is at the top or the bottom. Therefore, posting a sage without anything to say
is pretty useless. It's a pity how people use sage as though it is an insult aimed at the OP's
sexual preference.
