You must be new on /f/. Bumps and sages don't 'work' here. It matters not the least where the
thread's position is on the board. A bump per se is therefore useless on /f/.

Bump and sages affect your post, but it only really affects what arrangement you see the flashes
in.
Since most people scroll from the top to the bottom, bumping it can still call attention to it,
but since the deletion for flashes operates on a timer instead of a grand thread limit, it does
not make the thread last longer.
