Not really. After one round of "OH GOD WHAT" I managed to beat it with only 2 bosses getting by.
(The Super-Spawner and Super-Flyer bosses at the end.)
The trick is to make a badass maze of the cheap gun with a Freezer every now and then.
Then you upgrade about 4 of your basic guns to their ultimate form, the Sniper Turret, and
enemies drop like flies.
Then I was focusing on potential threats like fliers and spawners who bust through the wall.
Turns out my flier defense (two highly upgraded AA turrets) weren't good enough for the flier
boss, and the Spawner boss, even though he's fuck-slow, has more HP than anything else in the
game.

PROTIP: Make a maze of the cheapest towers, upgrade all the middle turrets to sniper towers while
upgrading all other towers when money is available. by the time you're in the last few waves,
you'll have ~10 sniper towers and ~50 level 3/4 towers
