The trick is to make a badass maze of the cheap gun with a Freezer every now and then. Then you upgrade about 4 of your basic guns to their ultimate form, the Sniper Turret, and enemies drop like flies. Then I was focusing on potential threats like fliers and spawners who bust through the wall. Turns out my flier defense (two highly upgraded AA turrets) weren't good enough for the flier boss, and the Spawner boss, even though he's fuck-slow, has more HP than anything else in the game.
