O_o >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)12:22 No.1619951 Still have my Red and Blue. Still have my original game boy. All still work. I consider myself lucky that I always have the option to go back and play them again. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)12:23 No.1619952 Are you kidding me? The mechanics of generation 1 were broken as fuck. (I have my super game boy with yellow in it on my nightstand, and I say that generation 2 was the best) >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)12:32 No.1619955 it be better if the guy didn't sound like an unwashed tit >> [_] Anime Hater Fag 02/15/12(Wed)14:57 No.1619986 nostalgiaed and i still remember the first time i played pokemon, it was on a trip to Las Vegas, my dad had bought me a gameboy color and pokemon blue, it was my first RPG type game. and pokemon was the game that defined my childhood. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)15:52 No.1620009 >a single Abra cannot be defeated by anything else in the game >Yes this game is GOOD this game is GOOD Nostalgia goggles are locked on and set to maximum, here. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)16:38 No.1620022 Ah yes, I definitely nostalgia'd at this song. I remember the good old days back when Special was just one broken-as-hell stat and Psychic types dominated the game by having retarded amounts of special and a weakness to a type with 2 or 3 actual moves, none of which actually present any threat. Wasn't it great just playing a game with mediocre, horribly-made sprites that was riddled with bugs such as only factoring in a Pokemon's first type when listing whether a move was super-effective or otherwise, and the pacing of the game was nothing short of pure crap and the only time the game presents a challenge is not from single powerful trainers but just tediously fighting through like 15 trainers in the dark while being pestered by cave Pokemon? The good old days, right guys? >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)17:04 No.1620035 >>1620022 yes >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)17:09 No.1620037 hipster shit only hipsters (or scenefags) dislike the new pokemons the gameplay pretty much the same thing, so the pokemon look different, big deal. still same turned base strategy. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)17:37 No.1620046 There are only 151 pokemons. I havent played anything other than Blue. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)19:18 No.1620071 This flash kind of disgusts me. Personally, my favorite was Pokemon gen was G/S/C. The newer generation is still alright with me, its the same game just different sprites. Anyone who bitches on what pokemon 'used' to be needs to grow up and realize change happens and hating and complaining will only make you hate it and not enjoy it for what it is, a fucking game. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)19:26 No.1620085 I don't understand, Pokemon games didn't change, you changed, you grew older, Pokemon is probably the least changed game over generations of gaming, also he mentions Unknowns when they were in gen2 first time, and no I'm not a huge pokemon fan, only played blue-silver >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)19:39 No.1620096 >>1620022 >>1620037 These posts. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)19:40 No.1620098 Manly tears were shed. >> [_] Anonymous 02/15/12(Wed)19:59 No.1620107 >>1620071 You say "change happens", but the biggest problem with Pokemon is that change DOESN'T happen! It's the same goddamn game every time, sometimes with a bit better balancing and new gimmicks, but entirely the same "six member party, four moves each, three stages of evolution, 510 EVs, Fire/Water/Grass starter" package that it has been since Gen1. |
