It's a special with a slightly different art style from the main series, which is Wakfu. It's a
French animated series based on the game of the same name which just ended Open Beta in North
America today.
On Feb 29 it will officially launch, but seasons 1 and 2 of the series are both almost completely
finished. I think Season 2 only has 4 more episodes.

Also the guy in this flash, Nox, is the Big Bad of Season 1, and is mentioned as stirring up
trouble here and there in the game, which is set 10 years before the events of Season 1. This
special was released after the end of Season 1 as a backstory for Nox.

Wakfu is great, and Nox is AMAZING. Not the cartoon (episode title is "Noximillien the
Watchmaker" aka the Nox Special and was released after the first season) but the villain as a
whole. Because they used such an amazing villain in the first season, the second season has had a
very difficult time measuring up but it's still lots of fun to watch.
Seriously, Nox will become one of your favorite TV villains if you watch this show. He is truly
an inspirational figure for anybody trying to develop a good villain.
