  this, also:
  >Implying everyone has an obligation to feed a newborn,
  >Implying all of the rich are haunted by poverty

Although, I don't agree with TZM for various reasons this has...
Horrible spelling, almost all reactions are based on emotional feelings rather than hard facts,
  and made up of rantings.

How's being 17 working out for you? Is atheism fun? When you grow up and join the big boys 5

Fail :/, as in not all people think the same so always using science as a solution instead of
diplomacy or common ground when communicating with them could work far better for solving issues.

Where do you decide to separate your animal qualities with those defining us as Human? You'd

we all fall on hard times.

that's the benefit of the social contract.

if for some reason we find ourselves broke we don't starve to death.

it's one of the perks of human civilization.

insurance against a universe that's frequently shitty at providing any reliability in our lives.

sure, some people abuse the system, but that doesn't mean it needs to be scrapped, just so people
get a sense of vengeance upon those who do.

I would point out that Print to Flash was written by underpaid overseas workers - but the creator

  >robbed

this argument can be applied to anything.
WHY ARE YU FORCED TO PAY TAXES TO FUND PUBLIC EDUCATION ?! MAYBE YOU SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO
PRIVATE SCHOOL AND DO NOT USE IT!!

sure, ok, but then vote for that position. you are free to decide what you spend money on and
what you don't through tax dollars, by voting for representatives that can support this position
  in government.

I for one will always vote for a welfare system, because while I am a taxpayer I like the idea
that the lower class that works at my business has a safety-net in case they loose their jobs so
they and their children don't have to go hungry.
And if I fell on hard times, I like the idea of being able to afford food and sanitation.

>> [_] Anonymous 03/23/12(Fri)23:17 No.1642114

Also, keep in mind you don't live inside a bubble.
You have to interact regularly with people who pay taxes which support the stuff you use, and
  vice versa.

There are certainly nations that approximate what this guy's opining for, in Latin America and
India where money can buy you virtually anything, it can be spent exactly as the wealthy please.

People in the US should accept that they will be living in a nation that increasingly looks like
the developing world if they're OK with their out of work neighbors ending up on the streets or
perhaps dying of starvation if they want to scrap the welfare system altogether.

  >sure, ok, but then vote for that position. you are free to decide what you spend money on and

So you're saying that if a majority of people vote for it, then it's okay to steal someone else's
  money.

  >I for one will always vote for a welfare system, because while I am a taxpayer I like the idea
that the lower class that works at my business has a safety-net in case they loose their jobs so
they and their children don't have to go hungry.
Yeah, that's what charity is for. Nobody has a right to turn someone else into a slave, hard
  times or not.

  >And if I fell on hard times, I like the idea of being able to afford food and sanitation.
Yeah, just because you like the idea of robbing someone doesn't change the fact that it's their
  money.

  >Also, keep in mind you don't live inside a bubble.
  ...
Don't mind me, I'm just waiting for your point.

  >You have to interact regularly with people who pay taxes which support the stuff you use, and
  vice versa.

"Have to"? Yes, because the taxes are taken involuntarily. It seems you assume there would be no
other system if it weren't for the government, like there wouldn't be a post office if it weren't
for the government, Lysander Spooner be damned.

  >There are certainly nations that approximate what this guy's opining for, in Latin America and
India where money can buy you virtually anything, it can be spent exactly as the wealthy please.
If it's their money, they should be able to spend it as they please.
