Nevermind that Japan had been trying to surrender for months prior. The only reason we did it was
to make a statement to the rest of the world.

Yeah, "conditional" surrender. They murder millions in China, conduct mass-systematic rape, march
our soldiers into death camps where they're systematically worked to death, commit the most
heinous cruelties and atrocities known to man (worse then the Nazis, look up unit 731) and then
they think they're going to get a "conditional" surrender.
Well, fuck them.
Let the punishment fit the crime. Pay unto Ceasars what is Ceasars. May they reap what they sow.
There's plenty more old sayings to sum up the point.
The Japanese sinned, and they were paid their wages.

Sure, it was war and I can understand why you did what you did, but trying to justify just feels
bad, like I wouldn't justify our actions. Let's learn from the war and not make such things
happen again.

You are wrong.
Japan deserves all the blame they get for Nanking and all the atrocities they committed.
But that doesn't exempt the US from the civilian atrocities they caused.
Japan deserves a share of blame for its crimes, but the US must also accept that there is no
justification for killing innocent men, women, and children.
Justice does not come of 'an eye for an eye'. Only revenge.
There must be justice for all crimes against civilians, and this was one of them.

who died didn't deserved to

ITT people that just don't get how horrible it is to actually use an atomic bomb. The USA nation
is the only one that has done it. And many of you are actually defending that. War is war, but
that nuke did a lot more than war has previously done in history.

There were no civilians in Japan.
Their culture would have put a sword into the hands of every man, woman, and child, to fight to
the death.
They had to be shocked into surrender to save their own goddamn lives.
