No more awkward whipping, minibosses nerfed, and hitstun deterioration implemented. >> [_] OP 07/20/12(Fri)06:59 No.1724085 Forum: http://symbiosisofevil.freeforums.org/ >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)07:01 No.1724087 Spam cross on miniboss. Oh look it's fucking nothing >> [_] OP 07/20/12(Fri)07:02 No.1724088 >>1724087 So? I'm doing it too crosses were always the best subweapon imo >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)07:06 No.1724090 >>1724088 What's the point in following tradition for the sole purpose of following tradition? Improve upon it. >> [_] OP 07/20/12(Fri)07:10 No.1724092 >>1724090 I'm going to. Combining both metroid and castlevania into one. This is still in baby stages. Gonna add different subweapons. I'm going to nerf the old subweapons to encourage players to try new ones. Fire flower, beam weapons, summoning metroid monsters. Like that. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)07:13 No.1724094 >>1724092 Sounds cool. Just don't nerf the knife. No one uses that anyway. And the special bar regenerates too fast. Makes using the whip at all seem stupid. >> [_] OP 07/20/12(Fri)07:16 No.1724095 >>1724094 Guess you're right. Maybe I should get rid of the MP gainback from the cross and decrease the rate of regeneration. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)07:25 No.1724101 This game would be better if you'd zoom out a bit. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)08:27 No.1724108 10/10 enamies+bosses 42 coins 10 secs remaining these are fun gonna try improve my score and get everything anyway you could make the controls save? >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)09:06 No.1724117 Why does the whipcrack have to be such a loud noise >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)09:54 No.1724136 I've been using the control scheme of: D: attack S: jump A: backdash W: cycle subweapon It seems more sensible than the defaults; less hand-cramping at the very least. If there's no way to save control changes, might there be a way to have multiple quick-defaults? >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)12:49 No.1724203 >>1724136 I replace shift for jump so that I don't have to move my hand when pressing the buttons (s to w). Don't know if its a common bug but I can't assign the space bar to any of the actions. >> [_] OP 07/20/12(Fri)13:05 No.1724205 >>1724117 I'll lower the volume on it. I ripped it from the game using audacity not knowing I could just nds hack to get all the sounds. >>1724203 I forgot about space in the odd key assigning coding. Sorry haha I'll fix that. I'll look up cookie thingies in flash. Do you guys want me to zoom out? >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)14:50 No.1724240 How do i use subweapon? >> [_] OP 07/20/12(Fri)14:58 No.1724243 >>1724240 Up+Attack >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/12(Fri)15:05 No.1724250 I see a lot of people neglecting a conveniently placed nine keys on the keyboard, i use Numpad 4: Attack Numpad 6: Jump Numpad 5: Backdash (not that I use it at all. Numpad 8: switch subweapon then have movement on wasd, maybe it's not for everyone but I always find it easier to manage movement with my left hand and actions with my right, like a real controller or an arcade type setup. |
