  Although it felt like that in both seasons they pushed all of the plot into the last few
  episodes, I was overall pleased with the anime. I also really like that the second season is a
  direct continuation of the first, rather than closing the first and introducing an entirely new
  plot, as most do.

  It's interesting that for a children's show, the villains aren't "evil" just for the sake of
  being evil (except for Rushu and friends) but instead have some sort of back story to them which
  explains their plight. The tales of Nox, a watch maker who had not enough time, and Qilby, a man
  trapped eternally inside a single consciousness, are truly tragic.
