I wish the obstacles weren't random. It seems like getting a lucky course is half of getting a
reasonably high score in this game.

The obstacles aren't completely random, and they become more compact the higher up you get.
Since you have full control over your jump height/timing, there's really no way you can complain
about luck - just don't be bad.

It is kind of luck seeing as you can't do very high jumps without first having a source of
momentum early on. So if you get to a spot where you need to jump just ever so higher you need to
have though of that before the obstacle even appeared.

Too much chance of getting an impossible random sequence of obstacles. Skill will only get you so
far, playing hundreds of times until you luck into a good setup is the only way to get a high
score.
