Macs are the most unintuitive pieces of shit I've ever encountered. What's even worse is that there are people who acknowledge that Windows has certain benefits (video games, superior business applications, etc.) but still shell out for a Mac just so they can dual boot it with that garbage OS. >> [_] Anonymous 10/24/12(Wed)23:58 No.1792670 YOU CANT GAME ON MACS! >> [_] Anonymous 10/25/12(Thu)00:00 No.1792674 Macs were like this but then Apple figured out that they suck at making their own hardware and started using standard hardware like everything else. Apple still continues this today even the iPhone is all hardware they had Samsung and various other companies produce for them. Yet there are still 3 major problems with any Apple product: 1. Shit programming 2. Old hardware (Top-end macs use hardware that is ~3 years old) 3. Massive overpricing (X3 to X4 the actual worth of the product) >> [_] Windows 8 masterrace 10/25/12(Thu)00:14 No.1792682 >not being a part of the grorious Windows 8 masterrace >> [_] Anonymous 10/25/12(Thu)00:17 No.1792685 >>1792682 Given Microsofts trend of going from good OS to bad to good to bad every time since Windows 3.1 I'm gonna avoid windows 8 like the plague until there is evidence that its not a steaming pile of shit. >> [_] Windows 8 masterrace 10/25/12(Thu)00:25 No.1792687 >>1792685 >ITT we /g/ Simple. It's Windows 7 plus metro. The Metro UI is backwards compatible with other input devices. Not so much mouse pointer, but keyboard. Please do not start implying that keyboard controls are separate from the Metro UI. Even implying keyboard controls are not UI is full retard. Enhanced task manager ISO mounting for your gaymes, buttpirated software, and whatever you have that's in an ISO Windows Picture Viewer supports animated .GIFs >> [_] Windows 8 masterrace 10/25/12(Thu)00:25 No.1792688 >>1792687 Metro apps for x86 (non-ARM) editions of Windows 8 are capable acting exactly like a desktop application, however with extremely strict requirements. Every Metro app is forced to use asynchronous functions and is multithreaded if applicable, meaning it will use all eight of your fake cores. Inactive apps (ones not on screen) are suspended as to save battery life. This directs all system resources to the currently active app. Inactive apps are capable of limited background tasking, such as updating content (Like weather) in fifteen minute intervals. At most each background task will only last thirty seconds. >> [_] Anonymous 10/25/12(Thu)00:42 No.1792698 Macs are shit. I was using Mac OS X, the version that came around 08-09 and that guy saying stuff about USB is right. I copied files from one mac and sent it to another but no! it created shortcuts, and I deleted everything before sending it to the other computer because I thought COPIES the fucking files and not create shortcuts Also they crashed on me alot, it was a Highschool 3d animation class and they got the newest macs they had >> [_] Anonymous 10/25/12(Thu)00:54 No.1792702 >>1792674 Veblen economics are a bitch. >> [_] Anonymous 10/25/12(Thu)01:10 No.1792715 I'm surprised that every time this is posted, no one mentions how old this video is. This is one of the first video I remember seeing once I started using the internet regularly for things like forums, so it's gotta be at least 8 years old if not 10. Nice nostalgia trip, but I remember reading this guys response to the ...response this video got when it was "first" out. He said that he uses a Mac and loves it, but he just did this as a joke to highlight the problems he had with it. The "realistic" Apple consumer, not the blind sheep. >> [_] Anonymous 10/25/12(Thu)03:14 No.1792778 My mother used Macs for her job as a graphic designer. I cannot tell you how many new words I learned when she got the Bomb of Death. Over. And over. And over. |
