Any reason the movement is slow as fuck? I thought it was a lowered framerate until the jump went
normal speed.

Two things
The backdash can be canceled into an attack, which can be canceled into a backdash, if you make
the backdash faster or go farther this could be a fun mechanic rather than a weird looking bug(?)
The jump can also be canceled into an attack, but the air attack can be canceled into the double
jump, i've been able to chain jumps to ~10 times just by hitting attack, jump, attack, jump
quickly enough, probably bad because it basically allows flight in a metroidvania game

I plan to make it as accurate as I can, and I know the fixed jump heights suck. Also, the
backdash cancelling on the ground is a feature common in the castlevania games ever since
Symphony of the Night, so that's on purpose. You can actually backdash cancel throwing subweapons
too. The air jump whip infinite is indeed a bug, thanks for noticing now I have to fix it haha.
Also, there is no advancing I just threw some enemies in there for you to, like it says, fuck
around.

Also, it is laggy in a browser full windowed setting, it used to be far worse, but since I
discovered spawning enemies and background items through programming rather than dragging them
onto the timeline its much faster. If you download it and play it standalone, it runs at jesus
nipples good speed.

If you hold up and attack while in the air, you'll keep doing the falling animation after hitting
the ground as long as you keep holding those buttons. Works for shoryuken, too.
Enemies that move toward you and just stick on you are annoying as fuck. Be sure to give the
floating heads a different movement style when you really get the ball rolling on this flash.
