I miss the days nearly years ago now when I could read Homestuck and not feel an immense regret
for associating myself with such a horrible crowd. I feel like there are still a few people who
legitimately read it to read it out of interest in the fandom, but nowadays the story is so
convoluted, the fandom never reacts to the insults Hussie throws at them (praising him instead),
and so much of the content is based on pre-established humor, memes, or inside-jokes, it's just
hard to ever get back into.
I hate using the term "mainstream," but that's exactly what it's become, and the saddest part is
Hussie buying into this and accepting the horrible crowd it's garnered. Or, maybe it's the fact
that its influence and popularity continues to grow while its quality dwindles. Sad to me either
way.

it started mostly when he joined tumblr, I do still read it because it still an interesting
story, but I do also see EXACTLY what you're saying, the past few flash updates are all full of
fucking tumblr memes and I feel like he doesn't even know his own characters anymore, just what
everyone else sees them as.
to be honest i dont know why i keep reading, maybe im just trying to convince myself it'll ge
good again at some point...
