I feel like there are still a few people who legitimately read it to read it out of interest in the fandom, but nowadays the story is so convoluted, the fandom never reacts to the insults Hussie throws at them (praising him instead), and so much of the content is based on pre-established humor, memes, or inside-jokes, it's just hard to ever get back into. I hate using the term "mainstream," but that's exactly what it's become, and the saddest part is Hussie buying into this and accepting the horrible crowd it's garnered. Or, maybe it's the fact that its influence and popularity continues to grow while its quality dwindles. Sad to me either way.

However, one problem with Bec prototyping is that Jack Noir gets abilities from what the characters prototype their sprites with. Since Bec is superpowerful, Jack Noir gets Bec's godlike abilities and turns into what the author calls Bec Noir. He proceeds to ruin shit.
