My uncle had two Red foxes which were perfectly adorable. Loved to be petted and fussed over, and
while they did smell strong i cant honestly say they smelt bad. Dont know about the piss though.
Anyways, there are actually Arctic foxes that have been bred by Russian scientists to be
domesticated and closer to dogs in tempermant. If anyone wants a fox, makes sense to go for those
really.

That has fallen apart and not been active for a long time. There are some remnants though, but
imports generally cost upwards of 5k or more.

Nah, not scared, just excited. Fennecs are very energetic and have rather short attention spans.
Here's the same one on the same day after he tired himself out:

Therr's a difference between a tame fox and a domesticated one. A tame fox is just a wild fox
that was raised to be tame, a domesticated one is the result of a 60+ year old Russian experiment
to breed foxes that acted as pets and responded positively to human contact, they even breeded a
lot of the smell out of them.
Domesticated foxes act more like this:

IIRC there are now licensed breeders in the US carrying it on still.
