The thing is. the wind was blowing so he had to speak up. He started off pretty calm. but then

moment the other guy started to get his gun. the cop could have opened up and fired upon him. He

that's usually for tv (and low threat events like unsafe driving) By asking the offender to get
out of the car. It limits the possibilty of having a weapon drawn on you by the time you reach
the others car. In this case. It was proven. The 'vet' didn't have the gun when he first came
out. Only going out to get it later when he started feeling entitled to whichever due to his
past. Again the cop could have started shooting the moment he saw the man reaching for something.

Cops are part of the problem. They enforce a 2 tiered "justice" system where the rich are free
and the poor go to jail if they can't hand over a small fortune to lawyers and judges and

society allows them to have it. They're not super heroes, they're not angels, they're just people

Cops are generally underfunded, undermanned, and undertrained. They also have shitty gear. Where
I'm from, cops WERE supposed to travel in pairs, one pistol per officer, at least one shotgun in
the trunk, and a bulletproof vest that slows the bullet down enough. Cops now are 1 per patrol
cruiser, one pistol, and severely undertrained. "training" most likely consists of having a field
day at the range and doing a few rolls. I work at a company that produces safety gear for
firearms specialists and found out that the vests the local cops allowed bullets to pass through
as if they were made of cardboard.
Vets get more benefits because they have a higher risk and can get mental problems, but they
should receive help from the government who put them in that situation. Basically, the gov should
clean up their toys when their done playing.

actually the vests were issued are pretty much cardboard they have the use life (if kept dry) of
about 4-5 years (when soaked more than once less than 2), budget demands that we be issued
standardized glock 40 cal. but gen and make vary from funding to what ever the department finds
