I always love the guy that judges faith so adamantly because he happens to have a copy of "A
brief history of space and time" on his shelf (never been read, but it is on his shelf). He's
read the bible (or at least the cliff notes) but when it comes to his own proclamation that
science shows us the way, he disregards quantum physics, and thermodynamics, as never an
explanation. Praise be the man who chooses to proclaim all religion is false, and only science
shows the way, because they can find a contradictory part of any religion, and thus proclaim all
is wrong, rather that parts are wrong.

I think you're failing to understand the basic concept of science. It goes something like this:
Scientist 1: I wonder how this works? I'll develop a theory.
Scientist 2: Nice theory, but I did some research, and it doesn't agree with your theory. Here's
what I found and my theory.
Scientist 3: Nice research, but your methodology was slightly flawed; here's the results of my
experimentation.
Scientist 1: Looks like my theory was wrong. Thanks for the data guys, here's my updated version.

Yeah, science has never worked like that. Here is how science really works
1. Develop theory.
2. Obtain grant money for said theory (or pay for it yourself, which is never realistic).
3. After obtaining funding, start performing your research.
4. Add 3 peoples name to research who never helped you, but promise that they will add you to
their research / and or sleep with you.
5. Note that your research is developing data that goes against the lucrative science community,
and the people that fund your research.

6. Renew your methodology because you don't want to face the fact you are societys bitch with
300k debt (just so you could get doctor next to your name) and that you will get blacklisted from
the community if you continue with your project.
7. Publish your work, you had to "help" the data along, and maybe you where less than astute on
your variables interfering, but you can submit a paper that will be accepted, and you will be
paid for it, even if its wrong. (Alternative: submit original data, be told you are wrong or you
did it wrong, have everyone turn against you, have the science community use obscure data to
"disprove" your current data, and science "superstars" call your work the lowest form of crap,
and have them insult your mother.)

demands nobody questions them. They will pretend that science is the only alternative, and you
