He's right though, it's easy as fuck. No real punishments for losing fights. Fatigue is almost
useless and you don't even have to eat or drink. Why even bother having a combat system? Just
have a list of all the scenes.

Did you ever hear the idea that something is worth more when you have to work for it?
This game has a awkward difficulty curve, especially if you haven't done it before. In particular
everything is pretty linear besides the sand traps, not sure it's unreasonable to assume that the
player didn't get the bow by then if they don't even know it exists.
For the most part it's just mashing the fight button because it gets pretty imbalanced pretty
fast.

The magic system isn't in a bad place if you're pretty much specifically built for it, besides
random spells and not being able to start with one. Magician history should give you Whitefire or
some DD really.

Yes it is.
But there is. First, start wandering around the lake a lot...You can get a nice sword there
before you get too corrupted.
Also while wandering around the lake you'll run into Whitney a few times. She just gives you
furfag peppers but after the third time you can visit her farm.
Then after exploring the farm a bit you'll find a centaur who'll give you a bow and a whole lot
of shit. Keep visiting him for training, though eventually he'll say "tits or gtfo", which will
eventually lead to "fuck me or fuck off", but that's only if you visit him like 20 times in a row
without doing much of anything else. Take a few breathers from visiting him and save before you
do and it won't come up.
