This, but there is a prequel movie as well as a TV series. Though the TV series does not have
this scene. My recommendation would be to watch episodes 1-15 then this movie.

There is the original series, then the two movies:
Guren-hen and Lagann-hen, which are all of the first and second half's episodes respectively,
shortened/summarized, with a few new scenes thrown in, this being one of them

How long has it been since we've had a"strong" anime? Sure, any anime can have emotion and such,
but nothing in a long while has been powerful enough to make me remember it or the scenes like I
do TTGL, or CG, or FMA.

Anohana?
(These are just the first ones which came to my mind)

>SAO
>awesome anime
The first part (pre-Alfheim) was alright, but they should have finished the series with Kirito
walking in to the distance at the end of the first part.
It seems like the audience for anime has absolutely no depth to their thoughts-- they need
everything played out and closure for every single thing, which is why they're so easy to milk
with shitty half-assed branch-series and repetitive never-ending series.
Plus that bullshit where every girl he meets falls in love with him and even his "sister" (who is
actually his cousin which is a cliche trope writers use to excuse the incestuous immediate-family
implications) is just pandering to an audience of lonely, desperate creeps who want to fuck their
relatives.

Really I stopped paying attention to the story after kirto got out of the world. I just watched
it for the combat which I thought was really good looking.

Actually if not taking the fact that usually most of audience want happy ending after all, they
had to finish it. regardless the second part of that anime was quite dull but still it only show
the normal daily problems, well not everyone falls in love with his/her sister/brother/cousin but
still, its only matter of taste after all. i personally loved SAO because story even if its
repetitive it was still good.

that anime so hah.

shot.
and as i said i liked it because of the first part and the ending and other things it was
repetitive but it was awesome for me.
