The characters are cute and they have some personality, unlike F-15's in space shooting lazers at
giant battleships or robots saving the Earth from evil aliens, the Russians, etc. I like it.
I'm pretty sure Japan's birthrates are down for other reasons, and that Touhou doesn't promote
raping little girls.

Gameplay is pretty generic and weak for a bullet hell, the only thing setting it apart is the

No matter how repetitive Touhou is story and character-wise, it isn't more repetitive than F15

As I've said, shmups aren't my land. They all look practically the same to me, I'm a skrub at
them, I won't do anything about it, and I'll just play whatever I like the most superficially.
Touhou has cute girls and it's fourchin coolture so it wins over the rest.
