Maybe it's just because I'm an American, but what, precisely is this referencing? I caught the
Strike reference, but that's usually where our City Council would bring in Scabs to run the buses
and rails until negotiations with the workers went through. Or is it just a gripe about the poor
quality of Public Transportation in London in general?

London has a series of underground trains called the 'London Underground' or more commonly, 'The
tubes'.
And yes, they're constantly full of kebab and are generally poor quality.

Damn, man, I feel for you, Britbros. Kebab here are usually on the downlow, either because they
tend to keep their religion a personal thing (As I'd argue all religious or philosophical views
should be, unless invited to share) or realize that pulling that whole "Behead those that insult
Islam" bullshit would quickly get the entire community laughed at/targeted by the Ministries of
Unpersons & Unamerican Dissenters.
Public Trans here is shit, too, but as mentioned before, we have a few ways to bypass that shit
when people get upset about things. I can think of several of my fellow countrymen who would
gladly do a job for 15,000USD/Year, much less 30,000USD/Year. Not sure what the conversion for
GBP->USD is, but 30K GBP still sounds like a nice bit for piloting a car along a prefixed
rail-line.

Jesus H Christ, wtf are the idiots bitching about, then? Just ran through the numbers, and
working as a Monorail Op in for Disney gets you a little over 16K/Year...and that's working
Private Sector... Americans here would love that type of pay for that type of work. From what
I've heard, Standard of Living is comparable between the States and Britain so that's much more
than we make, even after considering living costs. No wonder the guy's griping about the
strikers. Can't say I blame him, really...and I thought OUR Public Sector workers griped about
petty shit...
