In movies

I'd love to see a movie with 'fake product' placement. As in knock-off brands. That'd be smart.
S-Mart.

God this makes me so mad.
Yes this caused movies to get off the ground but at what cost?
Now it's just whoever can advertise the most wins. I mean coca cola owns so much fucking shit
it's disgusting and what do they sell, liquid cancer water that does nothing but shorten your
lifespan.
I friggen hate my country so much.

No shit the movies advertise so much.
You pay ~10 bucks for a movie ticket.
You pay ridiculous amounts for popcorn and coke (I haven't seen any theaters in my area with
pepsi).
If you get to the movie room at the time printed on your ticket, you're subjected to 10-25
minutes worth of commercials.
They also have commercials now that want you to text to a number to (presumably) get more
advertising shit.
It's a result of movies costing too much to make.
Movies makers need to make up for all they spent on a movie, and I assume this has an effect on
movie theaters that host these movies.
It'll only be a matter of time before movies with big sales start failing to meet profits because
the budget is too high.
That's assuming it hasn't happened already.

>You pay ~10 bucks for a movie ticket.
And that's the only money that goes to the people who made the movie.
>ridiculous amounts of popcorn and coke
That's the money that goes to the cinema.
>It'll only be a matter of time before movies with big sales start failing to meet profits

Happens pretty often already, yeah.

Product placement doesn't even work. It it a waste of money, and it's an annoyance for the
audience.
