IE is the most bug ridden gateway to malware, viruses, errors, incorrectly displayed content,
etc. it's just horrible. ditch it. seriously. Web designers usually have to write special code
JUST to make IE work correctly for their sites since Microsoft tries to rebrand and/or make their
program incompatible/unfriendly with the rest of the world.

We ran into so many issues with EVERY version of IE. third-party programs that use it as their
web platform usually break down after an update or 2. IE 10 and 11 have caused serious issues
with windows 7 and 8 to the point where the only solution was to use another browser until they
fix their crap.
Most of the viruses we had to clean out would have been blocked out by a decent ad-block addon.
does IE even have addons/extentions for that? (I'm not talking about that shitty "pop-up blocker"
that doesn't work sometimes.)
Of course, they could just apply a safe HOST file and block those IPs anyway but the easier way
for normal users to do that is to just use a better browser.

Come on now, both Firefox and Chrom(ium) have their strengths and weaknesses and are both in the
top of browsers. A few years back, Firefox did have some stability problems, which is why I had
switched to Chromium, but that's been fixed for a while.
I now use both regularly without any issues.

Have you even tried it recently? Yeah, Firefox used to have a huge memory leak problem. Now it is
_the best_ full featured web browser memory-wise. It also has the best selection of addons of any
browser. Chrome[ium] uses much more memory than Firefox and is more locked down, IE is not
standards-compliant and is completely locked down, and Opera is for hipsters.
