How can I get rid of the gap when the audio repeats? I want a seamless loop

>> [_] f4r !HanakoDlmg 10/24/13(Thu)21:26 No.2156042

Edit your audio clip in audacity to make sure it's seamless (it has a seamless loop play function
if you hold shift while you click play). Once it's good there, make sure you export it as a WAV,
then import it into flash where you can use MP3 compression if you want. You have to do it like
that because if you export from audacity in MP3, flash will always add a tiny tiny gap in it.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. It loops perfectly in audacity, but I did export as mp3

I think that has more to do with the MP3 codec, which organizes audio data into blocks. If the
audio doesn't end exactly where the block ends, the rest is padded out with silence to fill the
block. Flash probably marks where the actual audio ends and the padding begins when it converts
to mp3, which is why you have to convert with flash instead of something else.

That's certainly one of the more likely reasons that I've heard. I only knew the WAV trick from
  this guide: http://swfchan.org/1922/

I've been screwing around with it and I think I got it, at least better than it was.
