About 100 years ago, giants dubbed Titans appear and start killing and eating the fuck out of
everyone, for no better reason then the fact that they can. Seriously, they don't even need to,
they're like plants, getting energy from the sun. They just hate humans so much that when they
see one, their immediate thought is "Time to ruin that guy's day!".
These cunts in giant form force humanity to build massive concentric walls, called Wall Maria
(outermost), Wall Rosé (middle), and Wall Sina (inner). This works for 100 years, but then some
massive fucker (seriously, biggest humanity's ever seen, about 60 feet tall) and a smaller cunt
covered in his equivalent of riot armour breach Wall Maria; humanity is forced to abandon the
area of land between Maria and Rosé, resulting in turmoil and famine.

As for those things that let humans zip around like a violent Spiderman on crack, turns out
Titans can only be killed by a deep incision to the base of the neck. Fuck knows how they found
THAT out, but thanks to this knowledge, the Vertical Manoeuvring Equipment is created, allowing
for rapid navigation of 3D space. The local military forces train on this to stop the giant
bastards.
The animu itself focuses on some guy who's mother died in the attack on Wall Maria, leading to
his vow to take vengeance against the Titans. He joins the military and trains to be a Titan
killer But then it turns out he can turn into a Titan at will, so about half the populace are
saying "kill the fucker", and the other half are saying "SAVIOUR OF MANKIND". Top brass in the
military don't seem to mind though, saying "eh, fuck it, let him serve", so now he fights for
humanity, whilst trying to find out why the Titans exist and how the fuck he can turn into one.
