  I stay for the end credits, but only to see if theres any scene after the credits. Never read the
  credits as I never cared for them and never will.

  Credits are stupid. Aside from legitimate acknowledgement of the efforts of the people in the
  film there is no reason to sit and watch for names there is no reason to commit to memory for.
  Its trivial information.

  It would be like having a house built then reading a list of the names of everyone that built it,
  then never own that house. It would be a huge waste of brain power if we did that for every
  single mundane thing in our lives. Why should movies be any different?

  Them sticking in credit extras is just the sad cry of an attention whore no one likes.
