So what is the logic behind implementing captcha on a board where there is none? The only problem we have on here is when there is a flash exploit, but captcha isn't going to stop that: only moderation will. And we are desperately lacking in moderation or janitors here. It's glaringly obvious it's some reactionary punishment to some nonexistent crime. >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)12:17 No.2239301 Waaaaahhh, I can't repost my shitty porn without spending 10 seconds on a bot check! >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)12:22 No.2239303 >>2239301 But riddle me this: Why would a street with no intersections need a stop sign? There are corrupt mods and janitors that are trying to reshape the culture of the boards, and the best solution to this problem is to try to point this out and continue to preserve the culture that is being threatened >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)12:46 No.2239321 >>2239319 >post suggesting we change chans en masse >YOU WANT MOOT TO ASSFUCK US! >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)12:49 No.2239324 >>2239321 If we all kept on bouncing around to the lesser *chans rather than staying here and trying to fight for it, then you're submitting to the problems that are affecting this website rather than solving them. Submission can be equated to assfucking, and it's a good metaphor for those that aren't interested in reading an entire sentence or need something to grab their attention with an emotional reaction >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)13:02 No.2239330 >>2239324 Agreed. I, too, often argue using logical fallacies when my position is untenable and fails to stand up to logical examination. Come on, what "culture" is being threatened? The captchas. Seriously fuck off your lazy asses and type in a regular word and some gibberish. You assholes are the worst. >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)13:10 No.2239339 >>2239330 What culture? It's clear you haven't been using 4chan for very long, or simply do not appreciate it for what it is. There is a great level of hostility of the moderators towards the users of the boards, and the captcha, designed to prevent spam, has now become a reason to shell out 20 dollars to not be burdened by something we used to never had to worry about. The captcha is something that has more disadvantages than you would like to think, and while it has become second nature to frequent users, the concept of paying for any level of privilege on this board is a detestable notion that is becoming more and more accepted now. SomethingAwful went down that route, and what was once a website that was the father of 4chan has now become a popularity circlejerk that encourages spending your money and discourages any attempt to revitalize the community that was responsible for shaping the internet in the early 2000's >> [_] Anonymous 12/28/13(Sat)13:11 No.2239340 >>2239337 >Is this even a fucking problem?
