Other boards have a spam/bot problem. /f/ doesn't, considering there is a two post limit. So what
is the logic behind implementing captcha on a board where there is none? The only problem we have
on here is when there is a flash exploit, but captcha isn't going to stop that: only moderation
will. And we are desperately lacking in moderation or janitors here. It's glaringly obvious it's
some reactionary punishment to some nonexistent crime.

What culture? It's clear you haven't been using 4chan for very long, or simply do not appreciate
it for what it is. There is a great level of hostility of the moderators towards the users of the
boards, and the captcha, designed to prevent spam, has now become a reason to shell out 20
dollars to not be burdened by something we used to never had to worry about. The captcha is
something that has more disadvantages than you would like to think, and while it has become
second nature to frequent users, the concept of paying for any level of privilege on this board
is a detestable notion that is becoming more and more accepted now. SomethingAwful went down that
route, and what was once a website that was the father of 4chan has now become a popularity
circlejerk that encourages spending your money and discourages any attempt to revitalize the
community that was responsible for shaping the internet in the early 2000's
