Shit, you're gonna have to do a few more steps.
First, take your hard drive out of your computer. Don't worry about turning it off, Linux can
hotswap drives.
Open that sucker up and get the biggest magnet you can find. Then, just run the magnet across the
plates a few times. 10-15 should do it, but be sure to swipe from inside to outside.
After you're done, just put the hard drive back into your computer and you're good to go, no more
parental controls!
