Meh, I remember playing Doom with my dad (when I was too young and didn't know English even a
little bit). I played without strafe, just turn a bit and RUUUUUN!

ZDoom, Skulltag and ZDaemon are all DooM/Hexen engines.
ZDoom mostly follows the path that ID might have taken, (>>919646)
