  Try Gankutsuou. Granted, it's an anime of a French novel, the Count of Monte Cristo.

  I'd say maybe give Lascars a shot, though it has a lot of jokes that don't translate well at all.

  While I agree that the french voices are fantastic, an English dub would mean that the show could
  make its way over to English speaking countries with greater ease. With more people watching (and
  most likely enjoying) the show, the chances of the show continuing increases.
  Also, the voices might not be that bad. I'm certain that Ankama will make the right choices.
