Pretty much. I'm a vegetarian, but it still makes me think twice about eggs. I'm still supporting
that eventuality.

Without starting a debate on a board which probably doesn't give a fuck, I think that intensive
farming is probably an inevitability. How else are we gonna feed everyone if we continue to eat
meat?
People need to realise that although Organic, low yield farming might be ideal it's just not
viable. More research should go on improving the lives of intensive reared stock, not low yield
hipster farming.
Just my two cents. Good video, very interesting.

Poor chickens.

Do you consider eggs a vegetable?

>>2324035
No I do not, but their production does not require killing animals so I'm fine with it in general.
That they go to the slaughterhouse in the end does bother me though.
>>2324023
Very true, but I take it in the opposite direction: Eating meat requires unethical practices to
be affordable for everyone, so most, if not all people should be vegetarian/vegan instead.

Im a vegetarian purely for health reasons.
You don't need meat in your diet at all.
Protein powder vitamin supplements give you everything usable in meat without all the fat and
cholesterol.
I need some way to make up for all the animals I don't kill, maybe chainsawing neighborhood pets.

>>2324081
Or you could use this thing called "moderation" and the fat and cholesterol can actually improve
your health.
Everything is bad in excess.

We eat less of it. Meat should be a treat, not something to be eaten everyday.

produce animals outnumber non-edible animals by millions.
we feed everyone by creating more demand- or to be more accurate, use land in third world
countries to feed those countries.

Fat is essential for human function. One of the most important parts of a good diet, dumbass.
Dietary cholesterol has no negative effects that have been verified by peer reviewed studies.
Cholesterol levels in the body are maintained by your liver and are unaffected by intake.

I've never seen such white clean eggs before. I just buy local free range eggs and half of the
time they've got shit on the shells, not that I care, the stuff inside is still good.

Actually the egg cleaning process is an almost uniquely American thing, because it strips off a
natural protective layer that prevents the eggshell from being penetrated by germs and such. Most
countries farmers just keep their eggs clean, and as a result, most people don't need to
refrigerate their eggs.
Consider this: How could chicks still in the egg survive the massive immunological attack of the
egg going bad when not refrigerated?

You might want to take an economics class.
I actually enjoy meat, but you obviously don't understand supply/demand laws at all.
