/f/ is interactive, webm can't replace that. On the other hand /wsg/ and /gif/ are already being
overshadowed by the arrival of webm. My guess is the boards will be renamed to /webm/ and /wsw/
for work safe webm.

I hope for this as well. They should also convert gif's to webm when you upload, it's not too
heavy to do on the server end, but I'm pretty sure I've seen ffmpeg ported to javascript (and
about 1/4 of the speed of the C version) so I guess we could have a client side gif to webm
converter so it's (almost) seemless for the end user who's too stupid/lazy to convert their gifs
