I don't think whether it's a fursuit or just something that covers up matters. I'd say consider
trying a fully concealing Halloween costume and going somewhere you've never been. A simpler
example, think Green Man from Always Sunny. It's just the anonymity that matters, really, not how
dumb you might look. Compare how you act here compared to how you might act on a proper forum
with a screen name, or your facebook.

She has the right idea.
Most full on fursuits look like shit. It's pretty much a really thick carpet you can't wear for
more than half an hour at a time without burning up and losing five McDonalds meals worth of
calories. The elongated arm warmers she uses seems to work much better.
Of course most fursuiters themselves won't think they look like shit because they're their own
sparkledog fursonas and need to compensate for the thousands of dollars spent on it, but
whatever. The only good thing those kinds of suits would do is hide terrible aesthetics, so maybe
the fandom as a whole needs them.
But... she doesn't. She's picked the wrong fandom to be in, because she stands out like a sore
thumb even with the partial suit.
