I don't think normal attacks ever do enough damage to k.o. before her stupid lust special activates. You'll know your bow special is maxed when the in-combat text says something about "supreme skill", and it does 160-ish damage. Also, I think her curse only blocks your normal attack, spells learned from the books dropped by the Sand Witch should still work. And there's the bow.
