Personally at it's current point I don't find it enjoyable, but knowing how early on it is in its making, I am just going to hope he does well with it, and the guy/girl commissioning it enjoys it.

That's 30 dollars for a relatively large amount of material, not 50 dollars for a new character in a barely functional game. Plus, given Toonpimp's track record, any "new character" is just a skin of an old one. Also, I'm not sure what your frame of reference is, but most games I've seen charge less and have more. Take Kurovadis for example: it's a finished game that only costs 1155 yen, or about 14 dollars. In fact, most of the games on DLSite are about 10-25 dollars. Another example would be The Legend of Queen Opala, a full rpg, which is free.

Its the same reason in which buying a imagepack from an artist on DLSite is like 10 bucks..but if you want something special..you commission it..and it can cost you 4-6x that amount. Most I can say..If you don't want to commission a character...then don't. Its a shame that we're forcing you to do so...you could always go play another game..we won't force the barrel to your head so hard next time. Toonpimps work may not be top quality..but look at someone like Experi-mental, His BASIC flashes cost 300+ USD to make. And thats a 2 second loop with no variability. Even PurpleMantis on HF offers simple flash loops for $50 with a cumshot included and its fairly worth the money, hes a beginner in flash so people arent too too hard on him.
