In the book the martel guy is described more as quickly jabbing and keeping his distance and
being fast than doing acrobatics, also in the books it is much more heart-felt when he does his
'combat court' with the mountain. If the season would have spent more time developing Oberyn's

different definitions so that you can guess-and-check which definitions make sense with my
statement so that you can learn something :')

  Prejoect (verb):

  1. estimate or forecast (something) on the basis of present trends.
"spending was projected at $72 million"

  2. extend outward beyond something else; protrude.
"I noticed a slip of paper projecting from the book"

  3. throw or cause to move forward or outward.
"seeds are projected from the tree"

It's clear that you don't understand the post you were replying to, which may be the source of
  your confusion.
The reason you were called out on "projecting" was because you were "projecting" qualities like
"can't ever be happy with anything" and "hipster faggots" from yourself onto others. The post was
calling you out on applying traits you see in yourself onto others. That's what projecting means
in that context, and it's correct in that context.
You can't "project" that something isn't shit just by expressing an opinion, because that isn't

The three lines were important to Prince Oberyn because they were part of his all-consuming main

going to be spouting hilarious or quotable one-liners throughout the fight-- he's a brutal,
  merciless executioner.

The lines actually added a lot to the fight IN THE BOOK because Gregor followed each of the three
lines with a punctuating assault on Oberyn.
  >I killed her children
He punches Oberyn with his metal-clad fist
  >I raped her
He shoves his thumbs in to Oberyn's eyes, ripping apart his eyeballs and pouring blood (how he
  probably penetrated Oberyn's sister's vag)
  >and I murdered her
  He kills Oberyn

It was a good setup in the book, not sure why they fucked it up in the show.

something that would never happen in an actual fight just leaving your opponent on the floor

Calm your tits and let me explain why I haven't spoiled anything for you:

All of the Stark children were/are "wargs" (Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, Rickon, and even Jon) in
that they had a special connection with their wolves that allowed them to see through their eyes
basically (although they can't control other animals). The reason Robb didn't come back is
because his wolf was killed as well, and if Sansa dies she dies permanently because her wolf was
  killed.

  cont.

Arya has wolf dreams through Nymeria but she doesn't realize that they are actual events she sees
through Nymeria's eyes (leading a pack and killing things in the forest). Bran has the same
dreams (which IS covered in the show already) and the siblings explain to him that it's because
he's a warg. So far that's two Stark children clearly shown to be wargs involving their wolves.

Rickon clearly has unnatural control over his vicious wolf Shaggy Dog in the very first season
(in the tombs scene), which implies warg-like abilities. Robb always had his direwolf at his side
and it obeyed his every command despite the fact that it's never mentioned anywhere that wolves
can be tamed by any normal person and the only people who can/do keep wild animals as loyal
companions are wargs as shown with the wildling wargs.

My point is ALL OF THIS was covered by the television show ALREADY or at least heavily implied.
It shouldn't be any spoiler than the Stark children are wargs (at least in terms of their wolves).

As for Jon's Targaeryan blood, it's not a spoiler because the books haven't gotten to his lineage
yet. It's context clues is all-- not actual canon, but just fan theories based on loads of
evidence. Even the show has tons of clues that Jon is the son of Rhaegar and Ned's sister.

It hasn't been confirmed yet, so it isn't a spoiler until the next book comes out.

Did you even watch this flash?

  >why the fuck didn't he stab his legs or something
Gregor's leg is sliced open in the first minute of the fight
  >this is just so stupid it's something that would never happen in an actual fight
hurr durr I am an expert on actual medieval fights
  >just leaving your opponent on the floor completely unharmed
Gregor's leg is sliced open, his side pouring blood out, and his internal organs impaled by a
  spear

And if you read the books you'd also know that the spear was poisoned adding to Oberyn's
incorrect belief that Gregor was completely disabled, but you're clearly incapable of even
watching a 2-minute flash so reading ANY book must be unimaginably beyond your level.

That's why you should watch Game of Thrones, it's not just counter-mainstream (i.e. almost none
of the main characters have plot armor, the supposedly "good" guys don't always win in the end,
and there's no obvious cut-and-dry good and evil) but a really involved twist of intricate
  politics and exciting fantasy.

The show does leave out a lot of the finer plot details, which loses some of the charm of the
author's incredible skill in crafting intertwining story lines and believable, relate-able
characters (even the "evil" ones like Cersei have understandable and relate-able motives like
  protecting her children).
