But really no worries, I didn't get the metaphor my first play through either because I got the

Well then, the creator is some 90s-wave emo with a childish, self-defeating victim-complex
perspective on life.
People wouldn't judge and distrust a person for cutting themselves-- they'd be worried and try to
help/give advice. Only a delusional "emo" kid would think the whole world is out to get them and
no one understands them and everyone is just a conformist who treats them like an outcast for
cutting.

I wish the creator was smart about it and just said it's up to the player to realize the meaning
behind the metaphor. That's what smart artists do, because smart artists realize that someone
