  on a solar road for years. But hey, at least you park on a solar Taco Bell parking lot! Because

  best way to use these.

  This is so retarded. Not only would the initial placement cost a couple extra trillions of
  dollars, they would also be a bitch to replace and would need frequent repairs because of all the
  dirt on the roadways and the fact that they're going to be driven on for months at a time. If I
  remember correctly, the cash required to place about half a football field of a single road would
  cost approximately $42,000. Now imagine doing that to the entire country. We'd have to shut down
  tons of roads, and we'd cost the country a fuck ton of money. And for what? To put solar panels
  on the fucking road. That's not even innovation. That's putting solar panels on the fucking road.
  Solar panels are not durable, even with their design. You'd have broken panels every single day.
  We're going to waste money on it anyways, though.

  Cute idea but i think it has way too many problems to mention.

  Most have already been brought up here but the video also states it will be creating jobs yet if
  all roads are replaced an entire industry will be shut down to start a new one. Maybe put solar
  panels on something that we're not already using?
